I have no idea why it happens, but this fixed it for me. What is the standard dimension of wide pictures? Key mapping suggested by Steve_Wlodkowski solved the problem. Trying the "optimize for gaming" fix, but really this should be fixed or at least clearer since I don't play games on my VM.
