Just so I am clear, you are suggesting I navigate to: Network Connections>Net Adapter>Properties>TCP/IP>Properties and changing the preferred and alternate DNS servers to those you suggested, correct? Today, when I went to look at the TV Lisings, a message popped up saying "Guide Listings will be out of date in fewer than 3 days.

  • I have tried removing reinstalling media center, re-running setup with a dozen different zips, tried running that update from task manager, tried changing to a different provider and back and I
  • Apparently the new guide has the old frequencies for some of the channels.
  • With regards to the question of whether my recordings were lost or not: the shows which had already been recorded were still on my drives so they were re-identified.
  • UPDATE: 8/14/2015: Microsoft is working on the problem.
  • My guess is that when the conversion from zap2it to Rovi was performed they did not take the video card type (pc's only) into consideration.

    As others have reported this issue, I tried to repo it on a VM, so this Installer was created from Windows 10 build 10134, so I built a 10134 VM with Check This Out This site uses Rovi data. I expect that would only be required if you remove and re-add the feature versus just re-running the television setup with a working zip code.
