I have my Gamecube plugged in with component cables and it works fine. Only now when I switches my TV to TV or other AV, my X360 switches itself off, including when putting X360 on pause and put TV on standby. tried two TV's. If you don't use the right equipment, you pose a greater risk of damaging the board more than it is already. You cant enable resolutions other then 480i until you connect the component cable box on the xbox. Yeah I'm almost positive he uses UnleashX but he may not be setting those for HD when he ships them. It's not like these early consoles really took advantage of component video anyway. You could do this blind to begin with to avoid this extra concern, but I find mistakes are more likely when you can't see. No result but same problems!
